The Museum of Art History named after D. Nurpeisova, the famous kuishi-composer, People's Artist of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Culture, was opened in 1991 in the village of Zhangala, 240 km from the city of Uralsk.

Here are materials about the work and life path of D. Nurpeisova. In the museum's expositions, information about the work and life path of prominent artists, people's artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who made an invaluable contribution to the development of national art, has found its place. This is Shamgon Kazhgaliyev, the conductor who led the State Academic Orchestra named after him for a quarter of a century. Kurmangazy, Tuyakberdi Shamelov-chief concertmaster of the academic orchestra, Asset Beiseuov-a prominent composer, N. Mendigaliev, S. Lukpanov.

The museum also presents information about the liberating heroes Isatai and Makhambet, the great art historians of Kurmangazy and Dina, their followers Mamen, Kali, Okap.
