The national operator JSC “NC “KazAvtoZhol” in accordance with paragraph 6-1) of Article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Highways” is empowered to attract investments for the purposes of construction, reconstruction, repair of public roads of international and republican significance, organization of toll movement and development of roadside service facilities.

Roadside service is a promising industry for business development. Gas stations and campsites, warm toilets and public showers, retail and catering outlets, as well as service stations, car washes and secure parking.

This year, it is planned to build 10 new recreation areas within the framework of reconstruction and overhaul projects, namely:

- A / d "Podstepnoye-Fedorovka-gr.RF" - 4 pieces, the installation of sanitary and hygienic units is required.

- A / d "Kaztalovka-Zhanibek-gr.RF" - 4 pieces, the installation of sanitary and hygienic units is required.

- A / d "Unege-Bisen-Saykhin" - 2 pieces, the installation of sanitary and hygienic units is required.

In this connection, in order to stimulate domestic and inbound tourism, from January 1, 2022, the following support measures are in force:

- subsidizing part of the cost of maintaining the SSU (83300 tenge/month);

- reimbursement of part of the costs of business entities for the construction of roadside service facilities (10%).
