On July 20, an international Kazakh-Russian historical, cultural, ecological and sports-tourist expedition along the Ural River with the participation of the delegation of the Orenburg region started. The start of this expedition began on the territory of the West Kazakhstan region. The expedition will last until July 24, 2022.

On July 19, 2022, a round table "Providing access to information on environmental protection and transboundary rivers, including the Ural River" was held at the Atameken Palace of Arts with the participation of the Vice Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Suleimenova Z.B. , deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament, the leadership of the region, scientists of Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as the public of the Urals.

Also, within the framework of this expedition, the action "Clean Shores" was carried out.
