Rotunda
The stone rotunda was probably built in the 50s of the 19th century. Inside the rotunda, in the center, a bust was erected to the son of Alexander II, Nikolai, who was the ataman of the Cossack troops. In 1859, in Uralsk, on the initiative of the ataman A.D. Stolypin, a boulevard was opened (it was called Stolypinsky Boulevard), in the center of it a stone rotunda towered. The local newspaper wrote: "The boulevard is open for the festivities of gentlemen officers and local youth." In 1862 the boulevard was visited by L.N. Tolstoy, friend and colleague of A. Stolypin in the Crimean campaign.
