The former house of Colonel Zavyalov, where in 1919. M. Frunze stopped

The house was built in the 19th century and belonged to the colonel of the tsarist army Zavyalov. Author unknown. After the liberation of Uralsk in January 1919, the commander of the IV Army of the Eastern Front, M.V. Frunze, arrived from Samara on February 10. He thoroughly familiarized himself with the state of work in the party and Soviet bodies of the city and provided concrete assistance. M.V. Frunze assumed the duties of head of the garrison in the city of Uralsk. The next day he held a review of the garrison units. At the crowded rally of the workers of the city and the personnel of the garrison, M.V. Frunze made a big speech. On February 14, Frunze went to the advanced positions in the Serebryakovo area, where he inspected the location of the units and got acquainted with the situation and preparations for the offensive on Shchapovo.
