The building of the former first male gymnasium, now the educational building of the pedagogical college named after Zh. Dosmukhamedov
The building was built in the late 80s of the XIX century for the Ural military gymnasium - the first educational institution of this type in Uralsk. In 1870, the Ural Military School was transformed into a male classical gymnasium, and in the second half of 1890, into the Ural Military Six-Class School. During the Great Patriotic War, the biological faculty of the Ural Pedagogical Institute was located here, and after the war, the school for leading collective farm personnel, the West Kazakhstan Agricultural Institute. Currently, the building houses the Ural Pedagogical College named after Zh. Dosmukhamedov.
