House of the Italian architect Delmedino, now 1st floor. driving school, 2nd and 3rd floors housing stock

The building was built by the first architect of the city of Uralsk M. Delmedino /1821-1831/, who was invited to Uralsk after a big fire in 1821 by Ataman D.M. Borodin. The position of an architect was established especially for him. He built the house of the military ataman Mizinov at the same time as the ataman's palace. According to the memoirs of contemporaries, M.V. Frunze spoke to the population from the balcony of this house in 1919.
