Former home of a commercial and industrial commercial bank, now the akimat of WKO
The building was built in 1879 specifically for the Russian-Kyrgyz (Kazakh) school. The school taught boys, in addition to reading and writing, carpentry, turning, carpentry, blacksmithing and locksmithing. The school was a two-year school with elementary classes attached to it. At the end of 1919, this building housed the regional military registration and enlistment office, and in the 20-30s there was the Ural vocational school with classrooms, a boarding school, a canteen, and a club. Then the building was occupied by GPTU-75. In 1963, it was transferred to the West Kazakhstan Agricultural Institute. Currently, it houses the regional museum of local history.
