The building of the branch of the State Bank, now the Treasury

One of the authors of the building is civil engineer M. Klementiev. The Ural branch of the State Bank was opened in 1876. In August 1908, the branch bought a plot, demolished 3 households, and in 1912 completed the construction of the building of the State Bank branch. Heating and ventilation were equipped by the Russian Society of Kerting Brothers in Moscow in 1912. The residential three-story part of the building was reserved for apartments until 1932. From 1932 to 1968, the regional committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan was located in part of the office premises and in the residential part of the building, from 1968 to 1975 the regional committee of people's control, the regional financial department and the regional department of vocational education were located in this part of the building, and since January 1975 the building has been completely occupied by the regional office of the State Bank of the USSR. Since 1998, he has occupied the regional department of the treasury.
